PDK on the track is probably just as fun as manual (and maybe more satisfying as I feel like a better driver) but I will always hold on to at least one manual in the household so my kids get a chance to have that much fun and interaction with driving

Nope, it's nowhere near as fun as manual on the track, imo.  Executing a perfect (or nearly perfect) heel-toe downshift is really fun (whether it's manly or not, I don't care).
