March 25th, 1973, 2nd GT & 8th overall at the 1973 Valleunga 6 Hours driven by Gijs van Lennep & Herbert Mueller. -

April 15th, 1973, 1st GT & 9th overall at the 1973 Dijon 1000 KM driven by Gijs van Lennep & Herbert Mueller (# 26).

- May 6th, 1973, 5th overall at the 1973 Spa 1000 KM driven by Gijs van Lennep & Herbert Mueller (# 41). -

May 27th, 1973, qualified on the pole for the 1973 Nurburgring 1000 KM but DNF driven by George Follmer & Willy Kauhsen (# 66). - Later in 1973, was retained by the Porsche Factory and was converted into the prototype 2.1 liter Turbo, making it, apparently, the first ever turbocharged 911.

- 1974, DNF (as a result of a turbocharger problem) at the Imola 1000 KM, driven by Schurti & Koinigg. - 1974, retired and placed in storage at the Porsche Factory, in last-raced condition.


The history of this car alone is just stunning. Since it was the first turbocharged 911 why was it converted back to the n/a-engine? Does it have more historical relevance in that state and therefore higher value or was it just a preference of the previous owner?
