Seems like silly high jinx to me ... someone poured a drink on Sutil so he tried to pour a drink on that guy ... ended up cutting the neck of Lotus-Renault's co-owner and then Sutil compounded his stupidity by not staying to help or enquire if the guy was OK. No wonder this issue refuses to go away. Sutil has been monumentally stupid.
