P.S.:  The X5 M sounds nowhere near similar to how the LFA sounds.

P.S.2.: The GT-R was specifically designed to beat another hoover machine sounding, AWD , 2+2 coupé on the track, which it does with ease, the Lexus is at another completely different level in everything apart from just cold performance numbers. Quoting evo magazine about the LFA once again:

Minus some loudness level, yes, it does sound like the LFA and it is a horrible sound for a SUV.

The GT-R was specifically designed to lure buyers into thinking that they can get a japanese 911 Turbo minus the horrendous price tag. The reliability record of the GT-R proves something completely different but this car seems to make at least the Playstation crowd happy. Smiley

So the V8 TT engine in the X5 M sounds like a LFA/CGT kind of engine. Not even the old 5.0 V10 sounded that good but they have done some magical trick with the 4.4 V8, right?. Pity is that in my ears it's not even close.

Some owners will suffer from reliabilty problems form their GT-R, some won't (its not like 911 owners can be 100% of their car not having any problems...), but the undeniable fact is that on the track there is no contest between those two cars, not even close....
