In today issue of german car mag "auto motor und sport", is also mentioned aside to other Porsche news (911 speedster), that a revised 911 GT3RS will top the 997 (non-turbo) line.

By mid of next year, the current 3.8 enigine will be replaced with the 4.0 litre engine as used in motorsport. Power output should be 500hp plus something...

 

(I could imagine that mid of next year could be interpreted as mid of modelyear, which would be Q1 2011...)

 

 This is very strange... How can it be possible that a 500hp NA engine (non-DFI, based on GT1 engine block) should meet the EU emission requirements whereas the GT2RS does not meet these requirements Smiley I am a bit clueless. Maybe the AMS report is incorrect Smiley
