Run-in is VERY important. Just try to keep it below 5000 rpm the first 2000 km and do NOT use the kickdown during this period.
What about the M Driver's Package ? Can your dealer upload/activate it ? Did you get the DVD for it with your VIN ?

i have the M driver's package. bit received no cd with the car. i believe the car is already de-limited.
attched is a picture of the spec/job sheet that came with the car.
why do you recommend i should strictly adhere to break-in with the M ?
all my cars i took it easy for the first 300-500 kmy and then gradually 'went for it'
