Mike, I understand your frustration with him, but try to understand;
he doesn't like automatics, but that was never a problem, since the fastest offering from Porshe was a manual.
Now it's all changed. I'm almost as angry as he is. The 911 Turbo, the epitome of sports cars, is fater with a torque converter.
But here's another catch: should I decide to go for a Tip, I only have an advantage until 160 km/h and after that the 6-spd starts gaining and overtakes the Tip.
This IS a big deal for us, since we live in Europe, and use the cars in both settings, highway driving and twisty roads.
Also, why only offer the LSD on a manual, when the Tip is faster at speeds at which the LSD will be mostly used?
That's something I don't get.
