at first look at the time differences in acceleration:
the tip is 0.3s faster to 64mph and 0.6s faster up to 125mph - as porsche claims...

so why is it faster up to 64mph?
mainly because it is easier to launch the tiptronic car. there won't be much wheelspin etc... and maybe it is just 0.2s faster.
and because the 6gear manual car has shorter gear ratios, it is even harder to launch this car.

but why is the tiptronic 0.6s faster up to 125mph?
at first we have to realize that 0.3s are gained up to 64mph, which we already explained. so under full acceleration the tiptronic is just 0.3s faster between 64 and 125mph. and how can we explain the left 0.3s? maybe you need to do an additional upshift with the manual, which would explain the 0.3s difference.

also the new automatic transmissions change the gears very fast, even faster than using a manual transmission. and the new turbo is a real torque monster, and you know what that means....

btw. does anybody know the redline of the new turbo?
