Porsche purists already scoffed from 1977-1994 ( model 928 )-history will repeat, esp now that 500-600 hp luxury/sporty coupes are tumbling out of everyone's product portfolios compared to the 80s . New PAG bean counters seem to have amnesia about 928's dismal sales history , especially in the important US market , where that porky luxocruiser ( usually sold with automatic transmission )should have done best , but didn't.
