i received my copy of evo's december issue today. it features a brief track driving report of UK's first GT3 RS by richard meaden.

it's a RS with blue writing, which surprisingly to me looks darker, not exactly like the very light blue i've seen on this board (pics of horst von saurma's test car and ulf's RS).

anyway, here are some infos from the article. unfortunately i have no time right now to scan it...

  • car looks "sensational" and "completely irresistible" in the metal
  • special pirelli corsas work very well, much better than michelins on standard GT3
  • engine sound the same as GT3, but even keener high-revving
  • "early iundications are that the RS is the sweetest handling 911 yet"
  • last part of the article: "On-paper outputs and performance might remain the same, but the improvements in feel and response between GT3 and RS are deliciously tangible. I'm instantly smitten, and when the owner returns to reposess his pride and joy, I feel like a child who's had his ice lolly snatched away. If you're one of the 98 other jammy so-and-so's with your name inked into the UK RS order book, I hate you already."
