So will there ever be another GT2 RS? Or is the RSR going to be it with a more shall we say mature (read conservative) bodywork will be the GT2.. 

I'm far from prescient, but it wouldn't surprise me if there were no GT2 but will be a GT2RS.

The market for old-school GT2 is pretty well covered by the Turbo S except for the two-wheel-drive aspect.  Back in the day, two-wheel drive was thought to attract track/sport drivers when AWD wasn't so advanced as now.  "Real" track drivers would prefer an RS version over the street-style version, it seems to me.  Why make a non-RS version at all?
