What I think will be more interesting to see is how many 997.1/.2 GT3/RS owners will change for a manual 991.2 GT3. The last track day I did there were two owners who held tight to their 997s due to the manual. One of them even considered a GT4 as the next car.

Right, those "911" will stay with the 911 either keeping their 997 RSs or getting the next GT3 - however, in the German Club Sport this year, the number of GT4s went up.

As to the prices of used GT4s - still insane - why would I want to trade in , for example, my GTS just to pay a considerable high amount on top to get a GT4, or else, I have now roughly 80 % of the fun already...
