What happened to the Porsche mantra…..we build performance daily driving cars that you can drive to the track and track the car? The RS is not a DD. surprise

I don't think Porsche has ever called an RS in the past 50 years a daily driver.  Not that it couldn't be done - but that was never the goal.

Plus Porsche has a number of 911 variants that are daily drivers including the GT3 which slots more into the place held by the 991.2 GT3 RS.  This is also the technology we will see filter into the Porsche EV sports car to differentiate the Porsche from the more anodyne offering of outrageous acceleration and nothing else.
