    And remember, no brake dust.

According to Ben,lj, brake dust is visible unlike the 360 CS.

Maybe it depends on how one drives a Porsche that has PCCB.

My PCCB-equipped 996TT Cab has no perceptible brake dust. The car needs to be washed before any brake dust becomes visible on the wheels. Of course, the car is Lapis which needs washing more frequently than lighter-colored cars in order to look clean.

I don't frequently get into the brakes very deeply, so maybe I would get more brake dust if I were a canyon rat.

My CGT w/PCCB only has 450 miles on it, but I've yet to notice any brake dust with it. Again, since I'm just learning the car and it still has break-in miles, I don't habitually (yet) heat the binders very much.

    YMMV

Well, "no brake dust" is an exaggeration. There's less of it, it's lighter in color so that it's difficult to see, and it cleans off easily. The performance is phenomenal, though I haven't compared to the standard "S" brakes. Seems a bit silly as a refit, and it's an expensive option. Technology-wise it sets the car apart from previous 911s, a positive.

This should answer the question!!!!!! 2x the price of the factory installed option + install !!!!!!!!!

2005 911 only. The Porsche Ceramic Composite Brake (PCCB) technology provides fade resistance and consistently high friction levels by utilizing specially treated carbon fiber ceramic discs and composite pads in conjunction with six-piston calipers at front and a pair of four-piston units at the rear. The carbon fiber compound is much harder than steel and more resistant to temperature. Other key benefits include the extended durability of the pads and discs, as well as an approximate 50% weight savings over conventional metal equivalents. Price does not include installation but we do offer FREE SHIPPING on this item.

    Price: $16,340.53

Suncoast has them for $4000 less. Beechmont Porsche really marks them up pretty high.
