    What db level does the 997 C2S PSE get to?

    I'm starting to book a few trackdays and don't really know how loud the C2S PSE is when in full swing.

    Has anyone been able to establish what the rating is?

    I haven't measured mine, but I've stood behind it while someone else blipped the throttle and it's LOUD. However, I doubt you'd have any difficulty at a DE using a Porsche factory exhaust.

    I have PSE on mine and it's loud for street car, (compared to a regular street car) but it's nowhere near too loud for the track... I don't know where you are located but the only track in California that has a sound limit is Laguna Seca and I have heard that a stock 997 GT3 may be too loud, but I don't know that for sure... I would bet that a PSE car will pass though...

    Let me know what the testing criteria is and I can go test it. (For example, from what distance from the rear of the car and from what height above the ground).

    Here in the Netherlands the db limit is 93 db at Zandvoort and 100 db at Assen. That's nothing for a Porsche.
    Sometime ago I drove along with a GT3 RS which had a bit modified exhausts, after some laps he got a black flag for making too much noise....

    Had mine tested at Oulton Park last week. 105db with the plug disconnected (permantly loud)
