    991 SPASM (-20mm)

    Hi,

    Anyone running a 991 car with the -20mm suspension?

    I've had a normal 997 carrera and a GT3 but thinking of 991 for daily drive (I prefer a firm sporty ride but hate 'crashiness' if you know what I mean)

    Is the -20mm too harsh? I've had a drive of normal PASM suspension 991 S, which rode very well but I do like the 'stance' of the -20mm as the standard suspension does leave bit of a gap in the arches....

    Not had a drive of a PDCC car but reading mixed reviews...

    I came from 997.2 GT3 to 991s with SPASM with PDCC. it is the only way to go after a GT3. The clearance is better than GT3 but you have to be careful in town.

    Personally I'd stick with PASM rather than SPASM, especially with UK roads being currently atrocious!

    However it comes down to whatever floats your boat..Smiley

    SPASM is perfect. Get it. Car looks so much better, ride is perfect and not uncomfortable at all.

    I too came from a 997.2 GT3 and chose to go with pdcc and spasm. As others have stated, it is the way to go. No issues with ground clearance etc. The ride is not as harsh as the GT3 and yet is incredibly rigid when needed. I love it. I am glad I went with pdcc which also caters for a range of road conditions. The reviews are mixed but the issues mentioned about handling are quite different from my experience. Get pdcc, get spasm. I do not to miss my GT3!
