Porsche-Jeck has been using Continentals on his 987S and seems to be happy with them

http://www.rennteam.com/showflat.php?Cat...true#Post267293The Contis are o.k., but the Michelins are more performance oriented. Though the new Michelins (mind you, the tire makers change the compounds every other year in order to optimise them) seem to be a bit more wet performance oriented than the previous generation, hence the pervious gen could be described as "sportier" (on dry tarmac) - that's at least the consensus of Sportauto and other sources.
Normally I would switch to Michelin right now, but as the front tires still are pretty good (5mm profile) I'll go for another season with the Contis before I'll replace all four tires next year.
