    Sport Auto Supertest: 599 GTB 7.47@N'ring

    And 1.12 at Hockenheim circuit according to the latest issue.

    WOW only .1 sec slower then 997 turbo on hockenheim and full 7 sec faster on nurbergring (witch should be about 1 sec if a 7:50 track would be translated to 1:10 lap times), it blew the turbo away

    Very impressive for a daily-useable 4000lb luxury coupe...

    One-dimensional, track-oriented sportscars from P/L w/similar/slower times (esp when comparing all on street tires ) are simply laughable in their underachievement...

    Will be interesting to see if Scud (on street tires) can materially beat 599 on HH/NBR....

    P Zero The Hero's on 599 are specially developed for it. The same story is about Hero's on Audi R8...

    Second, 599 is way more powerfull(HP) then any Porsche or Lamborghini.

    F430 Scuderia will be little bit faster on Hockenheim but, slower on the Nordschleife then 599. And Scuderia is equiped with Corsa tire... How do I know that? Well, trust me...

    New 997 GT2 will be faster on both Hockenheim and Nordschleife then 599, F430 Scuderia and Gallardo SL. Just wait for January or February 2008 issue of Sport Auto...

    BTW, Your preference CL63 is around 25s(!) slower on the Nordschlife then 599...

    Kreso how do you know the results of a test that won't be published for half a year? The scuderia and gt2 have yet to be released. Don't get me wrong I would love to see those results, it just seems too soon to tell

    I do not know the results of course. BUT, I spoke with my friend from Motorpresse(company that owns both AMS and Sport Auto) and he get inside info from both Ferrari and Porsche.
    So, according to this factory data he predict Horst von Saurma resluts with F430 Scuderia and 997 GT2.
    His predictions are usually within 99% of accuracy...

    I think it is a very impressive time since Ferrari unlike most of the other sport car manufacturers does not specifically develops its cars on the Ring
