    Looks awesome! And what impresses me the most is the fact that this thread has been going for 12 years, and the car looks every bit as stunning as back then.

    Something sweet from someone sweet...

    Our daughter made these delicious and beautiful tarts as our Thanksgiving dessert. They’re an all-butter pie crust shell with apricot jam in the bottom, topped with patisserie cream and pomegranate seeds. There’s lots of love in these tarts.

    I absolutely love our car...

    It was a warm and beautiful Sunday yesterday. Police were out in full force, enjoying the day and sun on their motorcycles while handing out plenty of tickets. I’m glad I was disciplined with the throttle, so no ticket for me ;)

    The first photo was taken just after sunrise near the Pacific Ocean. You can see the shades of blue where the water meets the sky. Of course, no trip is complete without a fill up; the second photo was taken at my favorite Shell gas station.

     


    Your car is a stunner Pilot. I am very envious. To the extent that I am noodling on getting one. Seems to be better value than the 4.0 (which over here at least is double the price of the “normal” RS). Can I ask how your experience has been owning it. ie. Any problem areas to watch-out for?

    Thanks for asking, I think I got really lucky with our 3.8 RS. Aside from regular maintenance and tires, I had two warranty items (front axle lift, and driver side seat belt buckle) plus one recall (WC51 replacement of center intake-air distributor). Having said that, I don't track my car. Also, the mostly dry and warm climate here in Southern California is very easy on it.
