    Very nice picture! I talked to my dealer today and I told them that i will need to testdrive the car before i make my decision. Thanks for the advice tho!

    If I end up buying a Cab, What color is the best?

    Hey, I am actually browsing through different colors online right now but don't know what is the best combo. I like the interior to be black, but i have no idea what the exterior color should be. Any suggestions? Pictures will be much appreciated. Thanks!

    My one is going to be atlas grey, sand beige with a brown top - looks great in the flesh. Atlas / sand is great with black interior it looks way too boring.

    You can close the top with the deflector in place. I think atlas with cocoa top and sand beige would look nice, but I have never seen it.

    Rhino, thanks for the info. Being able to close the car with the deflector in place is great news! Do you have a cab or coupe?

    After fighting over this tough decision (coupe OR cab) I ordered a cab 997S. It should arrive in April.

    White w/blue top and blue inside, Sport chrono, gps, short shift, park assist, XRR wheels and Multifunction wheel. i think Atlas Grey W/cocoa top and cocoa int is probably the nicest combo but I went with the white (should be nice to!)

    I have a 997 Cab and you CAN open & close the top with the wind deflector in place. Just be careful of tall drivers putting the seat (back) all the way back, it can crash into the deflector.

    The white blue is great! One of the most popular combo's in Japan by far. Very refreshing to see white and blue!

    Do you know that the cab would not have the same rigidity of the coupe?
    Example, the chassis of the 996 coupe is about twice as stiff as the cab variant.

    Coupe going, Cab on the way

    I decided life was too short to waste, so I ordered a cab with a March build (Seal/Black/Black) to be delivered in about 3 weeks.

    The 997 Cab is significantly stiffer than the 996, and if you get an "S" PASM has been tweaked to suit the Cab's different characteristics. I also think the soft top has been improved over the 996's.

    In the end the idea of getting two cars in one was too appealing to pass up.

    The car will get tracked, but probably only 3-4 times a year, and as I'm not in the Niko Rosberg class I don't think the additional stiffness of the coupe is something I would truly take advantage of.

    The 997 Cab is a different aninmal than the 996 Cab. The 996 cab was so much softer than the hard top 996. But the 997 cab looks good and it's stiff enough. Keep in my mind the body on any cab does eventually get more rattles and squeaks than hard tops.
