    Remove the CD Chager

    Hy there, I was wondering if i can remove my factory cd changer in order to fit a bigger luggage? Is it very hard to do,can i do it myself? Thanks a lot!

    You mean on the 4 runners? Shoudnt be easy, only 2 screws! I would do the same! Luckywise my 2 runner has more space

    If you remove the CD changer you might break the fiber-optical MOST ring of the infotainment system. You might need a special plug to close the MOST ring and keep the rest of the infotainment system happy. Better ask your Porsche center about that.
    Furthermore, if you want to remove the changer permanently your Porsche center can use a diagnosis tester to remove the changer from the car's mountlist. The PCM might be a little happier then if it doesn't have to wait for a changer that isn't installed.
