To all UK buyers

At my dealership (Nottingham) i have been offered total loss GAP protection for a fee of 350 quid. Has anyone else been offered this or similar. If soo did you go for it. It seems a sensible idea.

I was offerred it for Pounds500........

my finance had a gap protection in the deal for me.

My insurance already had a GAP protection included in it so I didn't need it.

I've been offered it too, but wasn't given a quote.

Has anybody else been offered/ taken the Zymol paint protection insurance?
My dealer mentioned it, but I didn't have time to go through it.
Any details of what it covers, whether it's worth it?

Me too. My car is coming from Nottingham also. The sales guy was Martin Fox, dunno if you dealt with the same guy but he was helpful. Stuart in finance offered it to me GAP (Back to Invoice) insurance for Pounds400 for a Pounds20k max claim. Lombard offer it for Pounds8.25/month up to Pounds15k max.

I would go for it at that price.

Res B: I am dealing with Sharon Mitchell. I told Stuart that i didnt want it he then said he would do it for 350. I think i will go for it, but i will try him at 300.

MBW: At Notts they offered me Jewelultra Diamondbrite paint and fabric protection. I went for it i belive i paid 200 quid for this.

I think HBOS offered me Gap cover for about Pounds200 last spring but I didn't take it.

I bought it on the day. It was Porsche GAP insurance. And it was 495 for 3 years.

I bought from sharon @ nottingham and took out GAP (500) and had it diamondbrited too (200).
