The concept and final car is like night and day.
One looks aggressive and raw, the other tame and conform.
The hidden door handles, sleek lines and cool details are all gone.
Who the hell was in charge of messing up that design?
Did Henrik Fisker do the initial design? The headlights on the proto looks exactly like those of the Tramonto and other Fisker designs.

And the side mirrors! From stylish to style-less in the blink of an eye... Too bad the designers seem to know what it should look like, and then the management team goes over it, and they succeed in dull-ifying each and every car they can get their hands on.... Hey, where did I hear that story again?

This is the end of Jaguar. This guy is meant to be the rescuer of the brand, but it is butt ugly! It has neither the classic Jaguar look nor the slick lines of a modern Jag like the XKR. To me, the production car looks like a cheap Chinese copy of the concept car!

Exactly. You could place a Ford emblem on it and you wouldn't think twice about it. Even if it was even remotely good looking I've vowed never to buy another Jaguar ever again. Absolute junk. (and their customer service sucks too... yes Hornburg that means you)

and i even dared to consider buying one...as daily driver. So that's one option less. Too bad.

It suffers a bit from the 997 GT3 and tt disease: useless design features: The chrome edge around the windows, the weirdly shaped outlet behind the front wheels, the headlights with the bulk, the chrome slats in the front vents... even the doorhandles look awkward on this car.
I have to admit though, that these latter pics give the car a slightly better look than the first ones.

I really like concept a lot, but everything what they changed from concept is worse and final version looks like some Hyundai and not like a Jaguar.
Lets hope XJ will be better, but after XF I doubt it.
