    Thanks. Very interesting tidbits about the future. Sure will be weird to drive a silent Porsche Cayenne!

    Oh great - more " shared instrumentation ". So will the Panamera's dash look exactly like the 911/Boxster/Cayman or the Cayenne ?

    I don't think that's what he meant by instrumentation but who knows.

    I dont mind Porsche parts sharing among its own cars, but do worry how much more sharing they will be doing with VW/Audi.

    He is talking about "modules" for instruments ... ie electronic systems that are in the dashboard ...

    I'm sure they won't share the design because it is part of the car's DNA.

    The 996 and the "old" Boxster (986) were sharing their climate control system with the Audi A6 and A4 ... including the "interface"
