    Stainless steel tailpipes??

    Just finished configuring a turbo on the UK site and there is an option called "Stainless steel tailpipes"... anyone know what it is???

    Where did you see that in the configurator. I cant even figure out how to select interior options and leather options.

    i think its just making the tailpipes chrome instead of matt silver

    Just wait a couple months after intro - I'm sure the aftermarket will have some urinal-sized-and-shaped exhaust tips that would put a " rice-mobile " to shame for those big bumper openings , removing the plastic shroud as seen in this pic that surrounds the stock tailpipes altogether.

    From the descrip on the UK config, sounds like this option entails pseudo-quad-looking tailpipes....similar to the option that was avail on 996TTS....and similar to the phony quad pipes std on the 997S....IMO, very poseurish....

    Actually it is: "Pair of dual-tube tailpipes (dual-line serial look) in chrome-plated stainless steel with high-gloss finish." So they look the same as standard ones...
