    Nice pic of the AMV8

    Went for a drive on the weekend. Great Ocean Road. Lots of fun...and the car handles amazingly!

    Thanks jcparki for your comments on other post and picture of one of the most beautiful machines ever made. It would be fair to say then you are happy with the aston? You weren't at Port Fairy by any chance?

    That is the famous Great Ocean Road, one of the world's best roads for driving. It's very beautiful and windy...

    havent been on the GOR for a while now, but I can imagine how much fun you must have had!!!

    and quickly put some 19" wheels on! they look tiny!

    Great car on one of the most beautiful coastal roads
    Did the Great Ocean Road a couple of years ago with my family in a Holden station wagon (loaner) The family was happy to finally arrive in Melbourne Especially the last 30 km or so seemed to be an endless string of very tight corners. Maybe I shouldn't have tried to drive the wagon like a sportscar The AM certainly is a more appropriate tool for this beautiful road

    Yeah very happy with the Aston.
    No didn't head that far south to Port Fairy. Maybe soon tho.

    Here is a little vid from my IXUS camera (first generation). So the quality is not that great.

    Also am just breaking in the engine....so only took it to about 5000rpm. And the traffic was too busy, hence all the lifting off! But you'll get the idea of how much fun it is to drive. Hope you guys like.

    Also hoping to take it to the track in a few months time. So i'll charge up the video camera...and get some good footage. Probably Phillip Island.
