    newbie

    New here and wanted to introduce myself. Recemtly sold a 2002 996 C2. This was a garage queen with low miles. I'm beginning my quest for a 997 and want to know how many of you use yours as daily drivers, if any. My search did not get much. Thx ahead.

    I don't use mine as a daily driver. I have a Detroit "barge" for daily driving, which works out fine, as I get a really good insurance break by using my 911S only for pleasure driving.

    I have no doubt that mine would be a terrific daily driver if I needed to use it. After 6,600 miles, it's well broken in and runs like a fine Swiss watch.

    Did someone say "Swiss watch?" [hi, Jim48] It's even better because it's a S-watch that pumps out over 300hp!

    Here's a German "Swiss" watch, Ahhhhh..., it's almost like sex!:

    I drive mine "every day" to and from work, for work, at the weekends for me and anyone else who wants to experience it No garage queen for me.

    Thx for the warm welcome. Prob gonna get another C2.I think I will drive it daily for awhile and back it up with something later on to lower the miles. Great board!
