crayphile:I must confess I don't know of any of these women - too much time spent looking at cars perhaps?
Nor do I.
I guess I spend more time wrinkling the sheets.
Having everything is nice, but it's even nicer to make sure everything you've got is actually worth having.
Whoopsy:Porker:Gnil:The Carrera GT is interesting but pretty ugly
That’s like stating Irina Shayk is ugly
Look what you did Frank! You have turned a perfectly fine CGT thread into a Eastern European girl thread.
And happy about it!

Pentium:I would add the F40 too
I would replace it by the F40 .
Enzo looks good and kind of timeless , but nothing beats the F40 for that matter .
The problem with the CGT is the back of the cabin, with it's straight cut . It looks ' interesting ' , but not pretty as nothing flows . Lots of strange cuts . The front is also a bit boring .
BTW : I am seeing a close by neighbor using his red 959 as a daily at the moment . Picking up his kid from school with it ,etc... It does look a bit strange too on the road . The back is ' sinking ' , the space between the tire and the fender is huge . But it is so cool to see it driving around in the middle of winter like any other 964

Rode in the F40 and drove the CGT. The F40 is so raw that if your doing 60 mph it feels like 120mph. The CGT is so much more refined. Yet, both cars are scary at speed. Neither car my cup of tea.

BjoernB:which car do you think is on the raise in terms of future value (not just limited to Enzo & GT etc ?)
I think the original Tuner cars are set for a big pop. The original RUFs, Gemballa, Koenig Ferraris, AMG Hammer. The kids that salivated over them and had posters on the wall are now in the 40's and that's always a ripe time for price appreciation.
The others that I think will have a within the decade pop are the supercar tuned sleepers. Lotus Carlton, Audi RS2 Avant, 500E.

One recalls seeing an early AMG Hammer when new at the AMG facility in the western suburbs of Chicago of Ogden Avenue. It was amazing to get a tour of the facility and a quick ride in the beast. At the time it was one of the fastest cars available; today it is merely quick.
Porker:Grant:Are these cars worth 7 figures now (or just high 6 figures)?
