Ron, The X51 Powerkit Option is for six-speed . .
Carrera C2 & C4 Coupes and Cabs, and for the C4S. It adds 25-hp to the current 3.6L engine for a total of 345-hp and increased torque. I do not have any technical information other than it involes modifications to cams, exhaust management and gear box and possible different heads. I was interested to know iof anyone had further techical infromation and if a gear box oil cooler was part of the package.

No, a gearbox oil cooler is not part of X51 as far as I know. Even the X50 doesn't have a gearbox oil cooler, even if some people (even owners) still believe that. The GT2 gearbox and 996 Turbo X50 gearbox are completely DIFFERENT.
If you want to retrofit X51 to your 996 (MY 02 and up), this might be difficult (expensive !) to do. I don't have all details yet, unfortunately.
