    Is airconditioning standard or is it an option in the USA?

    The brochure says auto climate control is standard but then lists it as an option later on under the spec page. Is this a separate option on top of a standard airconditioning system?

    its an option here in Canada...
    so i believe same as USA..

    is it a really useful option?????????

    Not sure about the US versions, but here in Europe you do get AC as standard, just not the automatic temperature feeler and adjustment. You'd have to regulate the air flow and temperature manually without the AUTO function.

    Maybe that's the case here in the US. We'll see what other replies from the US say.

    A/C is standard in US, autoclimate control ($550) is thermostatic control of temp and I believe auto air distribution as well. Personally I prefer any manual system over an automatic one. I had a 99 Boxster and the A/C was quite up to the job of South Florida. If only the power of the engine been equivalent to the power of the A/C.......
