    What´s up with the name Smiley I mean GrandLusso !!! Reminds immediately like a four door Ferrari Lusso, are these Ferrari / Maserati marketing guys taking drugs Smiley

    Is this the 2017 Quattroporte, the model year in which Car and Driver noted,

    The massive metal shift paddles annoyingly obstruct the driver’s access to the combination turn-signal/windshield-wiper stalk, which, by the way, is the same one you’ll find in a Jeep Cherokee. And that’s not the only interior piece that Quattroporte owners will recognize when they rent other Fiat Chrysler products while on vacation: the window switches, starter button, headlight control knob, and instrument-cluster display screen all come from the FCA corporate parts bin. Interior pieces of this quality simply wouldn’t pass muster in any Audi, BMW, or Mercedes-Benz and they aren’t befitting of a car that can cost upward of $150,000.

    If so, it doesn't seem very Lusso.

    Euhhh.... Doesn't lusso translate to luxe or luxury? So "Lusso" in this context simply means "Luxury Edition", or in GM speak, LE (aka, Leftover Edition). I don't see any problem here.

    The ironic thing about all the Chrysler parts in the Quattroporte is that in another article on the 2017 Alfa Romeo Giulia, which lists for ~$100K less than the Quattroporte, Car and Driver point out:

    Alfa Romeo didn’t order parts for its new Giulia sedan from Chrysler’s menu. If it did, the Pentastar stuff is well hidden. From what we could see, nothing inside the new Giulia’s cabin is shared with a domestic Dodge, Jeep, or Chrysler. The infotainment system is the Giulia’s own, and although the switchgear has a generic European look and some of the plastics are from the hard-and-cheap bin, everything inside appears to be Giulia specific.

    Also worth noting, the "Lusso" tag seems to be common across Fiat Chrysler's Italian brands.

    My neighbor in the Netherlands had 3 older Maserati's, I loved them a lot. 

    Only remember this exact model he had

    We used to have one of these; 1997 Model Quattroporte with 2.0 Ghipli Cup engine, manual trans.

    It was a charismatic car but awful to drive and even worse than awful reliability.

    I had 225 skinny rear tires, huge diameter wooden steering wheel; no power below 4500 rpm and then it took off with a sudden urge when the twin turbos were kicked in and instantly went to snap oversteer..

    I must agree, especially the facelifted GTS was a very nice car; both charismatic and trouble free with an awesome soundtrack.

    the facelifted GTS was a very nice car; both charismatic and trouble free with an awesome soundtrack.

    Saw at padova the classic car show, the old quattroporte royale....what a cool car for the 70 s...soo cool would like to have one today. And I agree that the new quattroporte is not as cool as the predecessor.....they did this for the chi a market.....not thinking that we here dont like that far...but they sell so bad...so maybe next time they will make the car looks good again...

    If they make the alfieri, i will buy it just for looking at it every day.....dont care about the performance or interior.....who cares...Inthink it is the most beautiful car of the last 20/30 years.

    Indeed this car is art on four wheels. I just hope they put a proper V8 on it, no lousy V6 Turbo. I would prefer to have  a 500hp amto V8 than a 600Hp V6 bi-tirbo.
