Just arrived in Como, Italy after the first 1000km leg, the old lady hasn't missed a beat. We had a thorough check-up done before leaving and everything was deemed OK. I'm still amazed how comfortable a car this is to travel in, yet because of its age a lot more entertaining/interaction than a modern car of this class would offer. It's still plenty quick enough to dismiss modern diesels on the autobahn, while being accompanied by a sonorous V8, just love it.
Here it is on top of the Gotthard Pass, will share further pictures of the trip as we progress.

Hi Frank,
out of curiosity, how long is your zoll plates?
Onur! I took them for two months but you can go up to 12 if desired, cost rises exponentially though...
Might get in touch with you shortly btw, one of my Istanbul customers is acting up in the aftermath of the coup.
If you come, please let me know. The situation is not looking good after coup because everyone believes it is not over yet and stop spending/paying/buying.
For example, we were ready to buy the 718 Cayman, after we sold our 981 Cayman 3 months ago. Its money is ready but we don't want to buy it because of our uncertain future. On the other hand, I'm happy about sending the 458 to Germany. I couldn't register the car yet but in the worst case senario, I will get 5 days-custom plate and make a road trip for that long.
As far as I know; EU5 cars can still be registered in Portugal, Poland and Hungary. So I'll sell my car there if not able to register it.
