Is a fresh engine better than a one position penalty? How about two positions? Etc. What's the break even? It's got to be worth something or they wouldn't penalize you for it. Right? I actually wonder how he can stay so cool time after time crawling out of the melted Merc.
I guess he really is an Iceman... but it would be fun to see some wheel-throwing and car-kicking every once in a while.
And yea, there is absolutely the possibility that Kimi is way too hard on the material compared to Monty, but I should think he would have been pulled as driver - or at least Norbert Hauch wouldn't state that "we promise Kimi that the car will work all trhe way this time" before last race.
Could be a combo of bad luck + too hard handling of the material.

Well, to be fair, he's had a lot of practice losing. Too bad they fine the driver $10,000 for not reinstalling the steering wheel when they get out of the car. We could see some interesting steering wheel throwing competition.
