the only rotors porsche ever bought me were fried from trips down Tuna canyon and Las Flores Canyon in Malibu, no tracking. i used to get to PCH with smoke billowing out of the front wheel wells... but that was one set in 43,000 miles in a 91 C2.
willow is a light braking track for the skilled. my last trip there, only my second ,i began to use very little brakes, relative to my first trip. i certainly use more brakes in the canyons where i am more comfortable, and it's downhill and frequently off camber.
i use more brakes on high speed runs across the desert, sudden braking from 150 to 100 to ID traffic or pass, reacceleration, and repeat 100's of times an hour.

PCCB have always worked great for me over 15,000 miles and steels as well.
