    Porsche commercial during 24hr Le Mans

    Anyone else catch the Porsche 997 commercial during the 24hr Le Mans coverage on Speed Channel on Saturday afternoon? Simply classic. Long too. Must have been nearly 4 to 5 minutes. Started with a boy sitting in a classroom watching a 997 drive by. Followed with the boy riding his bicycle to the Porsche dealership and sitting in the car. Then takes the Salesman's card, and says, "See you in 20 years." The end of the commercial describes 3 distinct times in a Porsche owner's life. One, when you are young, see one and need to have one. Two, when you finally own one. Three, the intervening decade or two longing for one.

    Simply a great commercial and I'd love to get a video file copy of this.

    Any ideas anyone???

    I have the full version on my computer, can't remember where i got it from- its 11Mb for the 3 min wmv clip. There's a shorter version on the porsche website under the 997 gallery. Someone let me know the best way to post this and i'll do it (RC can it go on rennteam?).

    The official Porsche videos are truely inspiring

    That was a commercial from last year and is already almost a year old. Porsche is not known for producing many commercials. How many times did they play the same 987 commercial?

    It was filmed in Georgia and someone was able to get some spy shots of the car. At the time there was very little official information on the 997. Hard to believe its already been a year.

    Only a 30 second version is on the main website, at least in US.

    I watched it. It was a nice story type commercial. The end portion was played all the time as a 30 second spot over the last year.

    I guess you know that Porsche has a DVD of some of their videos available from dealers. Much better quality of course. I watched them over and over again while waiting for my car!!
