Probably not coming to the US Also, the F150 is a pretty capable and solid truck. I very much doubt that the Benz will be anywhere near it. It isn't all about looks broken heart We'll see, but pretty sure they won't even sell in North America anyways.. for good reasons.

The problem with the F150 is the stupid V6 Ecoboost. All my friends who had a pickup all traded in the V6 F150 to a V8 GM pickup of various kind. The V6 has no power and if one actually tow something with it the fuel mileage drops like a stone, worse than the GM V8 trucks.

Who said it was only about looks? Mercedes has significant experience in the commercial vehicle market from work vans all the way up to tractors and semis... to me this was a glaring hole in their lineup that they are now moving to close. Not sure why many are seeing this as such a surprise move. Many people I know are actually quite intrigued by the potential for this lineup.

If the US import tax is removed, then they will probably sell it here. As long as the tax is in place, the only reasonable way to sell it here would be to ship the parts to the Nissan assembly plant in Mississippi.

Ah, forgot about that.... is that the tax they call the chicken tax?
