Am I the only one that thinks this concept is just a bunch of great design cues and great lines ?
No, you're not the only one Is this meant to become a potential successor of the Alfa Spider or will it be a "real" sportscar

Alfa have had some good designs recently, but their cars suffer on the road. The promise of a nice exterior turns to disappointment when you drive. Sometimes the weight ,sometimes the engine or transmission or brakes but they don't seem to get everything right at the same time like BMW or Audi do.
To begin with they need RWD to gain any credibility as performance cars.
This is my favourite Alfa of all times.
Beautiful yet simple and without superfluous details Bertone design, twin-cam all alloy engine, hot knife through butter gearshift, strong brakes and great handling. racing pedigree too.
In the 60's and early 70's Alfa Romeo was the epitome of the affordable sports saloon/coupe But they gave it all away to BMW from then on

I noticed nobody posted anything about this car, Am I the only one that thinks this concept is just a bunch of great design cues and great lines ? IMO its a thing of beauty.
Agreed! forgot to mention it in my summary... it looks beautiful live and has very good proportions... it looks like a production model.
