bluelines:I like those wheels
Those are very lightweight BBS FI-R (cost over $9k, I think). Not as light as Magnesium, but I think these are the lightest forged Aluminum alloys.

From the GT4 MR flyer: Weight reducing rim set (-11,3kg) in 8,5 x 20 offset 61+ 11 x 20 offset 50, available in brilliant silver / satin black / platinum silver / bronze.
I might have to get a platinum silver set

That is a big weight savings! I guess partly because the GT4 does not have forged wheels originally…

BBS FI wheels are the best in the business.
I still have a set of the original FI that's was for the 997, had them on my 997.2 turbo S. They are now sitting in my shed, still don't want to part with them even when I don't have the car anymore.
Nothing is stronger and lighter and better than the FI wheels.
I had a set of custom HREs forged made for my 918 to be used with snow tires, HRE is just about the best aftermarket wheels, they are a clone of the BBS FI. And the BBS are still better wheels.

Whoopsy:Leawood911:They would look good on my car!
And buddy they are yours if you are serious. We just have to find a way to get them to Kansas.
Better for them to find a good home than to just sit there in my shed. Had them since 2012, in my shed since like 2014.
Wow - that is very generous- don’t know what to say. Speechless. I would be happy to cover any cost and anything else in return. Ski lessons? Name it.

Hey, we spent enough time here that I considered you a dear friend already, even when we have never met in person.
I meant to sell them after I took them off, never got around to do it and they have been just sitting there collecting dust. It's better I find them a good home so they can be used.
PM me details. I will find suitable packaging for shipping. Likely UPS Ground, think they are a little bit cheaper than FedEx Ground.

I wonder if Whoopsy and Leawood will argue less after this

That would hardly be cricket. We are just having fun.
To be honest I am thrilled and have always consider both Nicks outstanding friends. Some may not now about the law of attraction but I am a huge proponent of it and positive thinking. Karma if you will as well.
So here is a strange set of events in a nutshell. Two weeks ago my dinner fortune cookie reminded me to go out of my way for a friend. Next day my ex coworker tells me of his new boss in Florida with a used 996 turbo looking for a diagnostic cable (Durametric). I had one laying around which I had not used in years though it would work in my 997. So I gave it to him as a present to give to his new boss to use. Put to good use - one down. Next a friend stuck in Africa and unable to travel out of Nigeria and out of money needed to borrow $5k ASAP. This was not someone I knew well other than the horrific war stories she told of escaping Sudan amid the slaughter of her family. Not only did I forward the money instantly but I realized this was a huge opportunity to really help someone who had a life we could never imagine. What a blessing to be able to help. No worries. Next thing I see is that post from Whoopsy. Wow. Maybe you all should watch The Secret on Netflix.
Frankly I’m also worried about RC. Hope he lets us know if there is anything any of can do. Hang in there buddy - we could use you back sooner rather than later.

Good job Leawood!
I was just teasing you and Nick. I actually quite enjoy your conversations with him. There are a lot of insights from both of you.
Yes, I am worried about what's up with RC too. Hope all is well.

What is up with RC? Did he encounter kryptonite?
