Having owned a couple of similar grey cars, images fail to capture the nuances in that particular spectrum of paint. In real life, the grey tones take on a dynamic appearance and shift according to light levels. One particular would dramatically shift from brown to blue to purple overtones in the grey depending on light levels.

If there is a .2 version. The following Autocar article on the proposed Euro 7 emission standards does paint a dire view for ICEs in the not too distant future. https://www.autocar.co.uk/car-news/industry-news-manufacturing/analysis-new-rules-could-make-ice-engines-unviable-2026

2026... it leaves enough time for .2
But yes, the future will not have many ICE left. Lambo will be 100% electric from 2030.

enough time?
The facelift usually comes after 3-4 years. That would mean a 2024-2025 release for the 992.2 GT3. When do the first customers get their cars? In 2025 or 2026...however, after 1.1.2026 you wouldn't be able to register it.
I think the only hope lies in postponing the Euro7. If it comes already 2026 it will be too late for a 992.2 GT3, IMO.

So my impression is that the new GT3 has been moved up almost as an "RS lite" car. Several reviewers note that it is much busier to drive now, and its track prowess has reduced its ability to be daily driven, depending on your location and roads.
If this is what has happened, the RS therefore needs to also move up, to be perhaps "Cup car lite". All of which seems to leave more space for something that fits just under the GT3..... a retuned Touring with softer spring rates would fit here?

I think this car could look so much better if there were some thought put into livery for it. You could make the front splitter more visually interesting with some design lines, same thing for the side profile. It’s not a beautiful shape, but with thoughtful design, you could make it look a lot more enticing. Think about how MV Agusta constantly refreshes the same bike shapes year after year with just different decal sets. I think the 992 GT3 would really benefit from similar treatment. I understand that its primary function is track ability.

I think a softer Touring is a given. The firm springs are only needed to resist the large downforce of the Winged car.
Touring will have neither...

The reviews suggested that at least some of the front end chatter is due to the new front suspension design, so if the Touring presumably keeps that, merely adjusting spring rates for the absent downforce would still leave the Touring equally as busy in ride quality as the full GT3. So it will be interesting if Porsche see no issues with that, ie. in their view the Touring is intended simply as a visual alternative to a GT3 while maximizing performance, vs. a version for a different set of user needs.

Same was said when 991.1 GT3 RS came out. Last one as because of euro 5 next one will have to be turbo. etc.. Look what has happen.
Is it registry not possible after 1.1.2026 or is it homologation is not possible after that date ? Big difference.
