Beautiful roads but dangerous, especially when there is a lot of traffic and lots of police lately.

Yes - well used Cup2s...
I thought long about driving with my Touring with Cup2s, but in the end I was 100% right to use the old horse 993 - we had big fun at slower speeds and much more grip in the rain.
We offered our help to the Test driver to clear the road with him...the front of the 992 Touring was totally smashed and all Airbags including the window bags were out - but he refused and wanted to wait for the Police - may be the accident-situation was not clear yet.
For us it looked like a typical wet road/understeer-situation - simply to fast...

Might even be mandatory (internal request from Porsche’s side) for him to call the Police.

As we have the same color car, I thought I can post here a few pics I took today of my car while doing a little drive. The 964 is the car I drive the most, it is my DD. At 215k km it still likes to rev all the way to red line 
And as it is AWD I take it to the fields

Love it Gnil...after my Black-Forest-Trip I would say, that I have more fun on public roads with the old aircooled machine - the GT3 is too much...but for trackdays I would miss it...;-)
Now winter ist coming with big steps to Germany and both cars are going into wintersleep...

Looks like that car has everything... apart from a towhook.
Car looks very low, did you adjust the suspension? From what I know, the alignment from the RS makes quite a difference on the four-wheel-drive models as well.

My wife kind of liked that 992 Turbo S Cab with the red wheels...not a bad combo.

There is a Mobil service station not too far from what was once the weekend retreat, now main residence, with an original neon pegasus sign. Unfortunately, they won't sell it.

They placed it on one of the 991 Speedster Showcars - since then the customers ask for these decals...you can order them now over CXX.
There will come some more interesting models from the Exklusive-Heritage-Series...the candyred Targa represents the 1950th. There will follow models for the 60th, 70th and 80th...and the new SportClassic could be interesting - this time it will receive not the engine from the "normal" models...
I got also some interesting infos about the future of PORSCHE Motorsport - it seems, that not everything is electric...there should be offical news in the next 14 days - a trip to France for the true Motorsport-Fans will be very interesting again in the future.
Let´s hope that the new German-shutdown does not destroy these great plans in the last moment...

Checking the weather-forecast (70%rain/11C) you could easily join us with your winter tires....
The chalk GT3 of my friend will stay in the garage - he will use his M5 Comepetition WITH winter tires...if it rains too hard - I will join him in his car as a co-pilot.

We had a great and sunny day at Hockenheim...no damages on our cars, three other drivers were more unlucky.
A perfect start to the season and the M5 Comp. on wintertires was also big fun...the tires felt apart after three stints, but we had a second set with summer tires with us. The advantage of a big saloon car.
For me it was a first time to use a HANS system with my helmet...first very strange because of the limited visibility , but at the end I got used to it.
My Michelin Cup2s are at the end of their life and I will get a new set in the next weeks - I still hope for the new mixture of the 992 GT3.
But there is no hurry, because the winter is coming back to Germany.
