    997 Turbos Are Here

    Here's an email from my Porsche dealer in Northern California:

    I would like to invite you to a Turbo unveiling party here at our dealership the evening of Wednesday, June 21 from 6:30-8:30pm.

    We will have various appetizers along with champagne and wine, and of course a beautiful new 997 Turbo Coupe on the showroom floor.

    Wednesday June 21 here in Virginia too for a dealer reception, although tomorrow they expect to get the first tt in.

    Waa Waa My salesman left a voicemail that it was the 24th. Yesterday someone from the dealership said "sometime in July" I'm going there on Monday with a large can of whoopass and plenty of BS repellant and get some straight answers.

    Had official customer preview on Monday past but demo not on
    road until 24th. My car is December build. What a long wait!
    I couldnt make it to the launch but salsman said he would send pics for me which I will share when the come.
