    Turbo Release Date

    Sorry if this is a repost, but I am extremely anxious, when is the official turbo release date? Also, when can we eexpect undisguised photos and stats. Again, sorry if this is a repost, but I must know. Thanks.

    Trip - The official release date for the U.S. will be July 8th. It will preimere in the flesh at the Geneva Auto Show in March.

    I was at my dealer today and they just received an e mail from Porsche saying that Feb 6th will be the day they will given the details on the turbo to the genral public in Canade and world.

    Thanks for the info guys, Ill be counting the days. As I am only 19 I haveno hope of owning a 997tt in the near future, but as an avid porsche nut I cannot wait for the return of the king. My dad has owned a 996tt six speed, but traded it in on a 997s six speed which he loves. I have driven both cars and although I love the handling and shifting of the 997, I miss the physics defying thrust of the turbo, even though his was a stock non x50. I can only imagine what the 997tt will be like. Maybe I can convince him to trade up when it hits our shores. Again thanks for the info.

    Guys

    my dealer call me five minutes ago

    He tell me the same thing that tell strawman before..

    The 6th of February they will have all info about what they will discuss on the meeting of 13th february at Porsche Italia.
    That meeting will be focused on the 997 Turbo...
    And from what i understand from 14th of february,we can specs and order the car

    so..we must resist again about 20 days
