Not really...scraped-up front spoilers are ugly...and 430 and 996TTS handle SF's hills w/o issue
The "lowered means it's faster/cooler" stuff doesn't impress me....if I want a race/track car, I'd get an FXX, not a daily commuter, AWD SUV 997TT Tip....

Every day that car sits unsold before 997TT's hit road the premium over MSRP evaporates, as "first-on-block" coolness factor dies.....I'd bet the dealer knows that and has paperwork ready to maximize premium....

I did see it with the owner. Dealer said they're keeping it the back until delivery - dumb I thought although I offered to christen it with a butt print 
Also no test drive due to "insurance issue". This is a relatively new P dealership, Continental Motorcars, that needs some education in the P-car world.

I just got an emial from my salesman at Revees in Tampa. He send images of 2 997TT they just rec'd. One is black and the other silver. I'll be heading over there later this week for a view. I have an order in for red, grey interior, Tip and SC. Can't wait!!!
What's the opinion on all the no additional costs options like the rear wiper, ant and so on?

no cost wiper.. i was wondering the same thing, mine ordered by the dealer as their launch car won't have one. previously in the forum there was interesting discussion about this. a number of posts felt the penetration of the wiper stuff through the rear glass was a potential leaker. others indicated you can easily manipulate the wiper accidently to scratch the paint, so they were non- wiper guys.. i would rather have had one as i think they look good, even though it dosen't rain here anymore.

I am sure that the purchaser of the car will not own it until the 24th--even if you gave them $150k cash today. PCNA is making sure of that and won't be recording any sales of turbos for a few more days.

Thanks silverrules! I chose some sort of 'weird' combo on mine: atlas with cocoa. Not many people consider that combination but I had my dealer put two cars next to eachother, one in atlas ext. and one in cocoa int. and imho it looked really awesome

Mine arrived at a mid-atlantic states dealer today. my first impression from photos off the truck is that it's finally real, as opposed to a vin#. now time is relly going to slooow down till it's finally home. needless to say i already like it a lot.
