Sweet November... (the month of our wedding)
It is time to dust off this thread--it's been a while-- and what better way to do it than with photos from our wedding anniversary celebration :)
As usual, we headed out very early Sunday morning to catch the sunrise. The sky was partly cloudy, so it was perfect for photos, and Mrs. November and I were both delighted at the warm morning breeze.
But first things first...
I did something that I normally wouldn't do when flying. The GT3 was low on fuel, which I knew, but I didn't remember that it was that low. Given the time constraint I had with wanting to catch the sunrise I had two choices: either skip refueling and risk that we wouldn't make it to our destination, or get fuel and miss the sunrise. Based on my calculations I took the risk and chose the first option. Luckily we made it, albeit with the low fuel warning illuminated (I guess at least we know it works :D). As you can imagine I had to "baby" the RS on the way there and I was very glad when I pulled into the gas station after taking photos.
The photo shoot itself was amazing. So many things fell into place that morning, which set the perfect mood for our special occasion. Originally we wanted to celebrate our anniversary in Sydney, but that plan fell through for obvious reasons.
Back to Mrs. November. Sunday was also the day we had to switch from summer time back to normal so there was no sleeping in; she wasn't too keen about this at first, but I promised to make it up to her with a delicious breakfast at the hotel and that's exactly what we had. I also brought a nice rose so we could scatter rose petals on the table to make it extra special. The last photo in this post was from our breakfast table, overlooking the ocean. Like I said, it was a very mild morning for this time of year, and when we walked outside and sat in the sun it was actually almost hot.
Anyway, we had a lot fun creating timeless memories together that will hopefully last forever. I hope the photos capture and show it...
