Cayenne Turbo: To Lemon or Not?
Interestingly enough, around 48 hours after I called Porsche to say that I was fed up and wanted a new Cayenne Turbo - a fix was magically found for all of my car's problems. The car was supposed to be fixed yesterday, but Porsche supposedly didn't send the dealer the right cable to plug a special device into the car to upload the proper code to the car. The cable is supposed to be there today (Friday) morning, and they are supposedly going to have the car ready.
I won't believe it until I see it, because the car has been "fixed" several times already. And Porsche seems to really want me to take this offer of one month's payment on the car in exchange for the headaches.
My question is, what do you all think I should do? I like the Cayenne Turbo, but I somehow feel like I'm getting the short end of the stick to put up with almost a full month of my new $90K car being in the shop and only receive 1 month's payment for it. Then again, maybe I should just be happy if my car works the way it's supposed to if/when I get it back and just deal with the situation?
Looking for fellow Rennteamers' advice on this one...
