    Photoshopped but pretty near to the real thing. The rear is a little bit different, I guess the designer saw too many 911 in his life.

    Are the turn signals really embedded in the front grill like that? That's the only part of the design that seems odd.

    Now that is a Boxster I'd buy! It looks great. Hatch back would be very handy. The car needs at least 300HP to really put it over the top.

    I have to disappoint you, it seems that the rumored RS/Turbo/CS version of the Boxster is off the production planning list. Expect around 15-20 HP power increase on all Boxster models, nothing more.

    Sorry to hear that RC. I was looking forward to the CS version.

    However, if you want a twin turbo, there are several tuners who have done them and are refining now. Cooling is the major issue (of course).

    In fact Roock is working on one also. Roock has already delivered a 3.6L Boxster here in the US at 335-340hp. Frankly, I'd rather have the NA version if it is not coming from the factory. Similarly, I'd probably take a GT3 now over a 996 Turbo.

    Pics of the front look "OK", the rear is nothing new. I am sure once the actual thing gets here it will look better than the CGI pics.

    RC, you can get off of your pedistal with your "holier than thou" approach. I was just expressing an opinion. Yes, the Porsche pic doesn't look like the whole MR2. I was talking about the side shot, mainly from the side mirror area past the vent/rear quarter panel. It reminds ME of the MR2's from the early 90's.

    I guess I'm blind because I don't see any similarity with the MR2. Well, my sniper eye-sight of 175% vision sharpness doesn't help much, ehhh?

    The Porsche shares no similar lines to the MR2. I think to say that the Boxster Coupe looks similar to an older car is an insult to the design and engineer team at Weissach.

    Hey RC, Porsche Cars North America says in a post on their website this morning that this car is pure speculation and do not take deposits on this car. They said they received a call from Germany who said that Auto Bild was making up the pictures. Either you have missed the mark or you hit a nerve! What do you think?
