Looking at the 2006 options list, at the bottom it mentions both PCM Nav module and an extended Nav module.
Anyone have any ideas what these extensions are? (other than 150 euros extra!)
And what on earth does an electronic logbook do to be worth 485 euros!?

Extended navigation allows you to drive outside of digitalized maps. You can set trackpoints and you can see where you have driven. It is more suitable for off road navigation where you can use it as waypoint navigation (like on yachts).
The electronic logbook is used to mark which parts you have driven privatley and which for business. The business trips are used for tax authoroty. Here in German you can pay 1% if the cars value as tax (it will be calculated to your monthly brutto salery) or you can pay some percentage for each privately driven kilometer. With the electronic logbook it is easy to prove how many kilomteres do you have driven business or private.
