    Exhaust

    We all agree that the turbo standard noise is not great.
    Has anyone ever heard about Tubistyle, I know they are italian and they are specialised on Ferraris. I heard a 355 equiped with tubistyle exhaust and I kidd you not, it was like an F1 on the road!!!
    Anyway, I heard that they now make exhaust for German cars as well including the turbo, so if anyone knows anything about it, thank you in advance.

    The exhaust is a very important part of the engine setup and can influence power/torque output in a good way or in a bad way. Some Tuners buy the exhaust systems from other companies and they're actually pretty good. But I never heard of a Tubistyle sport exhaust for the 996 Turbo, at least not here in Germany. The "Phoenix" or Cargraphic exhaust with highflow cats is used by most Tuners over here because the UK based company Phoenix is very capable regarding Porsche exhaust systems. As far as I know, they even had some production work for Porsche to do in the past. I always heard about Tubistyle in conjunction with Ferrari, so I don't know how capable they are to offer a "good" Porsche exhaust. I'm not talking only about sound but other important things.

    Champion is the distributor for Tubi exhaust here in the U.S. 1-800-940-4020

    I've heard clips, but don't know about HP gains. It does sound good in my opinion.
