    Thats what I was thinking too. My friend has (or had) 3piece wheels like that for his 930 slantnose.

    I totally want those cars.

    I have to disagree; it is not STILL beautiful, its MORE beautiful than ever, especially compared to today's auto designs, at least in my opinion. Ur lucky to have it when u could see a 7 series bmw next to u!

    I used to own a 964 C2 couple of years ago but found the design a bit outdated. Now it's starting to grow on me again big time. My first step was to buy the Bad Boys DVD the other week, featuring the 964 Turbo

    I believe those wheels are referred to as turbo twists, they are often used on 928's. There is one of these turbos in midnight blue in my area that often shows up for rides, nice sound.

    That wing does shout TURBO!

    If I will ever buy a 911, I think the first one will be a 964 C4. Silver, with the RS mirrors...
    That generation really grew on me when I realized I will probably be able to afford one sooner or later

    Oh, come on now.

    The 964 turbo had a "reverse locking" differential that locked up on over-run in order to make the car push when lifting off the gas. This was a vast improvement over the 930's throttle-induced handling dynamics.

    A Porsche dealer friend once told me that of the 930s he had sold, about one third of them had been crashed backwards through a back-road fence at one time or another.

    The 964 turbo was completely docile by comparison.

    Get the C2 instead, the AWD system on the 964 is very heavy and caused quite alot of understeer (compared to 993 and later).

    You can probably get a very nice 3.3L one for $35k. The 3.6 from 1994 is a collectible and costs over $60k...
