Wow! No postings, not before nor after the race! I suppose F1 has really become boring. I personally tape the races and then fast forward through a good part of the recording. Following today's MB team orders, and the renewed dominance of that team, I was thinking that from now on, I will just look up the results at the end of the season.
Agree,
Benz performance is a step ahead due to the upgrades. Vett is fighting the two Ferraris all on his own as well.
Best driver at the mo is Leclerc and Mad Max. Would love to see Max and Hamilton in the same team. That would bring in the viewers but it’s not going to happen, is it ..

I couldn't watch it live due to family obligations but watched it later in the evening.
Found the onslaught of Max fantastic to watch, especially when placed against Ric's performance.
Leclerc was spectacular as well, sadly outside the view of the cameras mostly.
The fight at the head of the pack was quite boring to be honest, F1 is desperately looking for more excitement methinks!

IMO FIA must give teams more freedom. The formula shouldn't be so restrictive so as to limit and stereotype cars.
Look at the golden era of the 70s and 80s how much disparity there was between cars in terms of no. of cylinder, engine design, aerodynamics, innovation etc. Moreover, drivers were personalities in the past and their rivalries became legendary. Nowadays only Hamilton possesses some charisma. The rest are very dull.
I haven't watched F1 on TV for a long time. I just follow the results like in most other sports.

This was a great example of merc not thinking of the consequences for the sport just for the team. If the had let VB pass in the end and win it would have been a magnificent thing. Even Lewis would have benefited more than if he had won. Reputation can’t be bought.

I haven't watched F1 in a couple of years at least, just read the results when they pop up in my news feed. Its just a waste of my time, its not only boring but there is no real competition, its a farce, competition has been reduced to ridiculous levels when you take a step back look at it objectively. Its hard to come to that realization after so many years of being a fan, but this is a joke, its pretend racing.
They need to make the drivers matter again, and the car not so much, they need to eliminate 90% of the aerodinamics so that passing is like in motoGP, and driver's with talent is what shines on Sunday controlling the cars. Would also make development much cheaper and the other teams competitive. And they need to make cars exiting again, not these caricatures that sound like a 4-pot diesel engine. Never going to happen though...

I haven't watched much MotoGP lately, basically because it doesn't get much exposure in the Netherlands. (As opposed to F1, which, since the participation of Max, is being force-fed to the masses). I always enjoy watching MotoGP, but to be honest, there I also find that the races can be really boring for the first 15 laps, then the last 5 laps are absolute nail biters which make your heartbeat racing.
